A waterless diffuser (nebulizer) atomises pure fragrance oil into a dry micro-vapour without water. The scent is stronger and more true-to-note since there is no dilution. Waterless diffusers cover larger areas (800+ sq ft), require no cleaning, and have zero mould risk. They use more oil per session but deliver a premium scent experience.

How do I clean my ultrasonic diffuser?

Wipe the water tank dry after every few uses. For a deep clean, fill the tank with clean water and a teaspoon of white vinegar, run for 5 minutes, then drain and wipe dry. This prevents mineral buildup and old oil residue. Use RO or distilled water to avoid mineral deposits, especially in hard-water areas like Delhi.

Can I use any fragrance oil in Azhara diffusers?

Azhara diffusers are designed for use with Azhara fragrance oils and standard water-soluble fragrance oils. Avoid thick carrier oils, perfumes, or alcohol-based fragrances as they can damage the ultrasonic plate. Essential oils work well too.

Is it safe to run the diffuser overnight?

Yes. All Azhara diffusers feature auto-shutoff that turns the device off when the water level is low. For overnight use, we recommend intermittent mist mode - it cycles the mist on and off, which is gentler on the senses and makes your oil last longer.

What size room can this diffuser cover?

Waterless diffusers (Stelo, Ether, the XL line) atomise pure fragrance oil — no water, no heat, no residue — for the strongest, truest scent throw. Ultrasonic humidifiers (Auréa, Fireside, Vintage 1970) use water with a few drops of oil for a softer scent with cool mist and ambient glow. For fragrance impact choose waterless; for ambience and humidification choose ultrasonic.

Do diffusers really come with a free fragrance oil?

Yes. Every Azhara diffuser ships with a complimentary fragrance oil — you pick the scent before adding to cart. Every oil in our library works with every Azhara device.
