Azhara Eternal Candle Set - Refillable Metal Stick Oil Candles

How to light it

1. Fill the vase at least halfway, and no higher than the shoulder, using the funnel.
2. Stand the candles in the vase.
3. Let the wicks soak for 30 minutes or more, the first time and after every refill. Do not skip this. A dry wick will not hold a flame.
4. Light, and keep the wick at 5 to 7 mm above the metal.

Putting it out and refilling

• Blow gently across the flame, or use a snuffer. Never dip a lit candle into the oil.
• If a flame dies on its own, the oil has dropped below the tip of the candle. Let the candles cool, top up the oil, soak again and relight.
• Refill with Azhara Eternal Oil or any clean liquid paraffin lamp oil. Never kerosene, and never fragrance oil or essential oil in the vase: they soot and clog the wick.

Getting the wick right

The wick slides inside the candle so you can set the height you want. A little handling gets it perfect:

• Uneven wicks on arrival? Stand the short end on a table and tap gently a few times. The wick will feed out on its own.
• Wick slipped down after a few burns? Normal. The oil's weight pulls it. Lift the candle out, tap it gently on the table, and adjust to the length you like.
• Dropped one and the wick came loose? Tap the opposite end gently on a table to draw it back in.
• Never push the wick with your fingers. It will not recover. Always tap.

Safety

Decor light. Not for use as a puja diya. Never use kerosene or fragrance oil in the vase.

Burn within sight. Never burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface and do not carry the vase while lit. The candles get hot; let them cool before handling. Keep the wick at 5 to 7 mm. Use only clean liquid paraffin lamp oil: never kerosene, petrol, alcohol, fragrance oil or essential oil.
