Common questions
The app cannot find my diffuser
Check that Bluetooth is on, the diffuser has power and is within a few metres of the phone, and that no other phone is already connected to it. Only one phone can hold the connection at a time. Close the app and reopen it to scan again.
Why does the app need Bluetooth?
Bluetooth Low Energy is the only way the app talks to your diffuser, so the controls cannot work without it. We do not use Bluetooth to work out your location, and on Android the scan permission is declared with neverForLocation.
Can I try the app without owning a diffuser?
Yes. On the No diffusers yet screen, tap Try a demo diffuser. That adds a simulated diffuser so you can explore the controls, the five modes, the intensity dial and the schedule editor. It is labelled as a demo and uses no Bluetooth.
How do modes and schedules work?
You can build up to five modes, each with its own days, hours and mist intensity, and switch between them with one tap. Use the single intensity dial for quick changes, or open the advanced controls to set spray and pause down to the second.
What does the child lock do?
It disables the physical button on the diffuser so the settings cannot be changed by hand. You keep full control from the app.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and the app collects no data. Your diffusers, their names and groups, and your schedules are stored only on your phone.
I changed phones and my settings are gone
Settings live on the device, so they do not move across automatically. Add your diffusers again on the new phone and set your schedules once more.
Buying diffusers and fragrance oils
The Shop tab opens azhara.in, where you can buy diffuser hardware and fragrance oils. Orders, shipping and returns are handled by the store rather than inside the app.
Privacy
The app collects nothing and stores your settings on your device. The full policy is at azhara.in/pages/app-privacy
